14. Miss Amstrong
After accompanying Billy and Bob to the mess of the Port franklin garrison, Joy takes a short break before heading back to the docks. Yet, an odd melancholy has inhabited her for several days; she seems elsewhere, lost in her own thoughts.
The thought of having to leave Takkanor soon weighs heavily on her. Her mind wanders toward the Moonlit peaks, and despite knowing that Scott is safe and happy to have reunited with his younger brother, the void left by his absence is almost unbearable for her.
