Night has fallen over Port franklin. Sitting on the docks, a short distance from The Vengeance, Eli and Jason O'Mullan are talking with Diron and Joy.
It has been several hours since Captain Bright announced the miraculous news to his crew: merchants, close friends of Adil’s family and who arrived in town yesterday from Staoslam city, had informed them that young Tyler Becker was indeed alive and searching for his older brother.
It is an immense relief, but Eli and Jason, who participated in the fights against the plunderers, cannot understand how their comrade survived.
Joy, for her part, remains particularly silent.
