2. The Crew
The crew of the Vengeance consists of less than twenty sailors, both men and women. They are commanded by Captain Bright and two lieutenants John Franklin and Anna Jensen.
Captain Bright leads the crew of the Vengeance ship. He is a respected captain by all for his clairvoyance, his calmness and his sense of justice.
John Franklin is the ship's second officer. This is Captain Bright's right-hand man. Although rigorous, cultured and competent, his cold and distant temperament makes him moderately appreciated by the crew.
Anna Jensen commands the squad of fighters in charge of the Vengeance ship security. Although very young, the beautiful young girl wields the sword as few men and women can claim.
Adil Al-Fassi is the captain's main assistant in the field of trade. His sometimes solitary side may be surprising, but his kindness and devotion allow him to be very appreciated. Adil was born in the Karran Kingdom.
Diron Tollman is in charge of the ship maintenance. A gifted craftsman, he is a specialist in repairs of all kinds. Diron ensures more than any other that the Vengeance is always fully operational.
Doug Jensen is Anna's twin. He is also part of the security squad. He rarely mingles with other crew members, with the exception of squad members and Micole.
Scott Becker and his brother Tyler are the latest to have joined the ship's crew. A strong and cunning fighter, Scott is part of the security squad under the command of Anna Jensen.
Tyler Becker is Scott's younger brother. Just like him, he has joined the security squad. He is one of the younger crew members.
Micole Balli frequently assists Lieutenant Franklin and Bob in facilitating the stewardship and management of the ship's cargo.
Joy Amstrong is learning the science of sea navigation from Ignacio. Her beauty and good humor are a source of attraction for many of her fellow travelers.
Jason O'Mullan is one of the youngest sailors on the Vengeance. The 18-year-old young man, of a rather shy and discreet nature, mainly related to Billy and Tyler. He dreams of joining Anna's squad and admires Scott.
Eli O'Mullan is one of the sailors in charge of the operation of the ship. A powerful and talented warrior, he never hesitates to fight alongside the squad. He is young Jason's uncle.
Ignacio Sanchez is the ship's navigator and deck master. He is the oldest of the crew. His composure and skills make him a reference for other crew members.
Maria Sanchez is the crew doctor. She is Ignacio's daughter and Luciano's girlfriend. Her authority is not challenged by anyone on board the ship, not even the captain.
Luciano Pardo, nicknamed 'Monster' because of his impressive constitution, is one of the sailors in charge of the operation of the ship. His unparalleled strength is matched only by his extreme gentleness.
Cheerful and dynamic, Bob Cake called 'Morfal' is the ship's cook. His limitless appetite is not just a legend, and his culinary skills are the delight of the entire crew. Occasionally, he does not hesitate to wield the sword.
Billy is the chip's boy of the crew of the Vengeance. At 16 years old, he is the youngest member. A true 'jack of all trades' full of enthusiasm and energy, he is Bob's ’protégé’ who teaches him how to become a talented cook.
Simon Delahaye is one of the most erudite members of the crew. He has few combat skills but participate in many tasks on board.
Youri excels in all physical tasks. He does not hesitate to join the security squad when the need arises. Sometimes perceived as arrogant, he is not unanimous in the crew.
Black Zack is Captain Bright's puppy dog. It is the only pet present on the ship except for the cat brought by Bob.
Nãkama is the goddess of the ocean. She is revered by all sailors from the surrounding provinces. As the first officer of the Vengeance crew, Captain Bright is the keeper of the Nãkama cult.
Backstage
This track introduces two musical markers that are found several times in the rest of the album: the male choirs represent the crew and the ethereal female solo voice symbolizes Nãkama.
